Australian pop star Kylie Minogue has asked her fans to leave her ex-boyfriend, French actor Olivier Martinez, alone.
After four years, Minogue and Martinez announced their separation earlier this month, saying that they will remain friends.
Since then there has been speculation in tabloid press of Martinez’s alleged infidelity with Hollywood actresses Penelope Cruz and Michelle Rodriguez.
“As for the treatment Olivier has received of late, I can only reiterate that he simply does not deserve the kind of harassment or vitriol to which he has been subjected,” the singer wrote in a statement on her website…

Mum Rosemarie revealed her son had wept on the phone to her about the break-up and explained that although though he still felt for the singer, they’d been fighting recently and had outgrown each other.”We are devastated about this news,” she told London’s Sunday Mirror.
“It is terrible and we hoped they had a future together. Olivier was dreadfully upset.”
Hours after that phone call Martinez was seen with a mystery woman in his vintage Aston Martin heading for actor Salma Hayek’s hillside mansion in Los Angeles.
They dined there with others, including film director Ridley Scott.
An onlooker said Martinez looked “very comfortable and happy, not remotely upset”.
“You wouldn’t have thought he’d just split with the love of his life,” the source said…

Not only has the pop star returned to the stage in her Showgirl tour, she has also been named the most stylish female celebrity and the star most teenage girls view as a role model.
In addition, London’s Madame Tussauds unveiled the fourth waxwork model of the singer in the capital yesterday.
Kylie is the only famous person apart from the Queen to have four models in the well-known wax museum…

Kylie Minogue smells better than Victoria Beckham.
That’s according to shoppers at Superdrug, as the pintsized Aussie singer’s Darling fragrance was named the biggest perfume seller in the run-up to Christmas.
Kylie’s fragrance, that was launched last month, beat off competition from Posh’s Intimately Her.
