Fresh out of rehab, beauty queen Tara Conner said Thursday that she is confronting her demons – alcohol and drugs, and an unidentified person who may have “betrayed” her as a child – but still believes she can be an effective representative of the Miss USA pageant and help others face their addictions.
“For me, it all had the same effect. I was an equal-opportunity user,” Conner said on TODAY in her first live-television interview since treatment. “Nothing fazed me. I would take what I could get because I was trying to mask so many things that I felt inside.”…

Parents of younger children are apparently indignant over Daniel “Harry Potter” Radcliffe’s courageous forthcoming theatrical project.
The young actor has caused quite a stir with the promotional pictures of his play “Equus,” because he appears shirtless in them. Which some consider to be terribly inappropriate coming from the teenager who made Harry Potter such a lovable onscreen character.
It seems underage female fans are smitten with the photographs, which show a healthy 17-year-old boy and really don’t strike me as unsuitable or offensive.

PARIS Hilton is suing a website and demanding its closure because visitors can pay to view nude photos and other items that once belonged to her.
Hilton’s suit says the website, which displays photos, home videos, diary entries and audiotapes of her conversations, as well as images of her passport, is “one of the most reprehensible invasions of privacy of a celebrity”…

Los Angeles (ANTARA News) - Actress Nicole Kidman was briefly hospitalized Thursday after a stunt car crashed on the set of a movie she was working on, People Magazine reported.
The report said that Kidman was not seriously injured and was quickly released.

The love and devotion of his superstar wife has carried country singer Keith Urban through his stint in rehab.
Speaking to German publication Stern, Keith said Nicole Kidman was “a good ray of sun” in his life when he met her and that their commitment to each other helped him battle his booze addiction.

Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba is reported to be set to star in a new horror movie produced by Tom Cruise.
The Eye will be a Hollywood remake of the 2002 Hong Kong film Jian Gui where Allison, to be played by Jessica, receives an eye transplant which allows her to see into the supernatural world.
The horror film, which will be filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, will be produced by Cruise/Wagner productions, according to World Entertainment News Network.
